Coronavirus Update – 22nd March 2020
We have been closely monitoring advice from the UK Government and The World Health Organisation in the continued response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to the unfolding situation with Coronavirus (COVID -19) we are urging all caravan owners to follow the UK Government instruction to avoid all but essential travel. As the government includes holidays in the non-essential category, that means NOT travelling to our park.
We are reviewing the Government guidance daily and will keep you updated of any further developments. To aid social distancing, we have already closed our social spaces like the pool, the bars and other communal areas and we would ask those currently on site to avoid close contact with others, especially in groups and gathering.
We are taking further steps to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our caravan owners, guests, team members and the local community:
From Monday 23rd March 2020, the Parks Reception along with our Sales Office, Laundrette, Outside Play Areas will be closed. Assistance will be available by calling 01745 833 048 (option 3) or by emailing email@example.com . For more information and updates on the situation, check our website.
From Monday 23rd March 2020 we are temporarily closing the park to holidaymakers until further notice. Our key release service will not be available during this time. Guests currently holidaying are kindly asked to vacate the park by Tuesday 24th March 2020 by 11:00am.
We realise a number of our owners privately let their holiday homes. Please advise your guests of this information who are currently staying on park or that are due to stay in your holiday home during this time
In these worrying times we hope that you and your families are able to stay safe, healthy and well. We understand just how precious holiday moments are for you all, so we don’t make these decisions lightly. Your safety and well-being however are of paramount concern to us and it is our hope that if we, you and those around us act responsibly now, we can halt the spread of this virus quickly, allowing us all soon to return back to our normal daily lives.
We thank you for all the understanding, support and co-operation you have already shown during this unprecedented time.
This is a rapidly evolving situation, so we will endeavour to stay in touch with you, letting you know of any changes or decisions as they occur.
If you are a caravan owner, and you being on the park is non-essential and are able to do so please return home.
In the meantime stay safe and work with us to protect those amongst us who are the most vulnerable to this virus by playing your part to limit its spread.
