Golden Gate Holiday Centre is located in Towyn on the North Wales coast. This caravan park is an ideal location from which to explore the many attractions of North Wales, including the coast, Snowdonia, Anglesey and the North Wales Borderlands.

In Towyn you will find amusement arcades, go-karting, cafés and bars, fairground rides and much more - you'll have a fun-packed time as soon as you arrive at Golden Gate.

Llandudno itself offers plenty for the visitor with its fine unspoilt promenade, pier and beach. There is a dry ski slope and toboggan run at Ski Llandudno for those who like to get the adrenalin flowing, and also a good theatre (Venue Cymru). Llandudno is also a great place to do a bit of shopping with a wide range of shops including well known names such as Debenhams, Next and Marks and Spencer.

In nearby Rhyl you will find the Rhyl Sun Centre, amusement arcades and shops, plus the famous fun fair and much more.

The holiday centre is about 30 minutes drive from Chester, where you can explore the Roman Ruins, walk the city walls, or shop in the extensive shopping centre.

The area has many historical attractions including castles to be visited at Conwy, Caernarfon and Rhuddlan. Wales is famous for its steam railways, and the Ffestiniog Railway, Welsh Highland Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway and Llangollen Railway are all within easy reach.

Activities to be enjoyed include walking and climbing in Snowdonia and mountain biking. There is a great coastal cycle path from Rhyl to Llandudno. There are numerous local golf courses. Birdwatchers can visit the local RSPB reserve at Conwy. For those seeking some excitement, The Adventure Company is a few miles from the holiday park where you can go paintballing and enjoy other activities.

The less energetic can just explore the stunning scenery and attractions that North Wales has to offer including the lakes and mountains of Snowdonia, the North Wales coast, and Portmeirion.

How to Find Us

From the A55 take exit 24 signposted for Abergele, and at the traffic lights in Abergele town centre turn right on the A548. Continue along the A548 and then turn right at the next roundabout. Golden Gate Holiday Centre is about 2 miles on your left.
